Our Mission

Paws and Claws Animal Welfare Society, Inc. is an American nonprofit that operates in Giza, Egypt. Our board of directors includes both American and Egyptian rescuers and includes veterinary staff. We started this organization because Egypt has no laws against animal abuse, and there is a great need to protect and heal suffering animals.
In Egypt, there are no government organizations to help, like the ASPCA or Humane Societies.
We do the best we can to educate, raise awareness, support TNR, and save abused animals. We specialize in severe abuse cases and finding them forever homes abroad. We believe it is very important to foster relationships and love between people and animals. We do all of this on donations and volunteer work.
